Verdict: The BDP-S380 is an excellent Blu-ray player. The only thing missing is 3D compatibility.

Pros: Doesn't distort colours; Low power consumption: draws under 8.5 Watts during Blu-ray playback; Rapid: platter opens in 2 seconds and playback starts in 23 seconds; Ups...

Cons: No analogue 7:1 outs (stereo only); No internal memory for BD Live; Remote is too basic
