Den steroeskopiska 3D-effekt som skapas av Nintendo 3DS drar nytta av de olika synvinklarna från vänster och höger öga. Genom att manipulera 3D-skärmen så att vänster öga bara ser bilden till vänster och höger öga bara bilden till höger uppstår en otroligt realistisk 3D-effekt utan att du behöver obekväma specialglasögon.
3D-reglaget Med 3D-reglaget kan du öka poch minska 3D-effekten för att hitta den nivå som passar dina ögon bäst. Du kan även använda föräldrakontrollen för att avaktivera 3D-visningen och sätta Nintendo 3DS i 2D-läge ( 3D-effekter rekommenderas inte för barn under 7 år)

Ögon som blivit trötta, torra och i vissa fall även gjort ont är garanterat inte något som Nintendo vill höra talas om så tidigt efter lanseringen.
